Xmas Toy Drive

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

2020 has been a hard year for almost everyone but for some, its been especially hard.

With the help of our friends at the The Blue Hand Group we will be hosting a Xmas toy drive in support of families that are involved with the Newtown Community Centre and Asylum Seeker Centre to bring some joy to families in need this holiday season.

We will have a collection bin for new or gently loved children's toys located in the main bar. You can also go to the following drop off locations:

XMAS TOY DRIVE - GIFT GUIDE

We are excited and thankful to receive gifts that are aimed at children ages 1-12 years old.

The ideal gifts would be children's books, children's toys, sports supplies and arts supplies.

We do not accept:

Food or clothing

Gifts that are wrapped - Although we appreciate the effort, we need the gifts to be unwrapped as they need to be checked for safety, sanitised/quarantined and photographed/logged for the community centres to find the right home for each gift.

Broken or well used toys - All toys must either be in their original packaging or gently loved.

Inappropriate gifts - This includes but not limited to, gifts featuring visible swear words, anything sexual in nature, anything derogatory or disrespectful to others.

COVID SAFETY

The Blue Hand Group and their volunteers will be sanitising/quarantining for 14 days all gifts before wrapping and co-ordinating COVID safe collection for the families receiving.
