Martin Cerny is our new Chef and is originally from the Czech Republic. Martin has a real passion for home grown, fresh a locally sourced produce which is reflected in the use of our own herb garden, home made sausages and eventually the slow cooked meats we will be doing in the wood fired oven.
Martin has been inspired to cook this way from when he grew up on his families farm
Phibs is one the most respected and renowned names in Australian Graffiti/Street Art. His public art works are prolific in Melbourne & Sydney and are far-flung across the globe. He has painted so many walls around Fitzroy, an inner suburb of Melbourne, that it has affectionately become known by locals as ‘Phibsroy’.
Originally from Sydney, Phibs came from a strong graffiti background and was active in community programs, inspiring the artistic potential of this now popular art form.
Gizmo is just our beloved pub cat, he has been part of the pub furniture for years, very dear to the locals!
